How to Apply

To apply for the Hilda Specter Morgenstern Merit Scholarship, applicants must:

• Complete the application [Download PDF]
• Email an official copy of their high school or college transcript (on school letterhead)
• Email 1 letter of recommendation from a teacher or advisor (this MUST come from the teacher or advisor’s email address. No exceptions will be made.)
• Email an essay that answers the following three questions (make sure your name is on the essay):
  1. Why do you want to study in Israel?
  2. How do you plan to facilitate your interest in public advocacy or government when you graduate from college?
  3. How do you expect your study in Israel to shape your identity as a Jewish woman who is interested in government and public policy?

Please limit essays to no more than 1,500 words.
